“The Twin Cities Bridal Show was a well-organized event! They made sure everyone was safe and social distancing was enforced. It was my first bridal show I have attended and I would recommend it to anyone that is interested!”
Mikayla, Bride
The Wedding Guys team was so excited to host brides, grooms, mother of the brides, and more at the January 2021 Twin Cities Bridal Show! We welcomed local exhibitors and hundreds of brides throughout the day ready to jump-start wedding planning.
Because capacity size was restricted, the number of vendors and couples were limited. But that didn’t mean the show wasn’t overflowing with wedding inspiration! Our team worked closely with Saint Paul RiverCentre, and Minnesota Department of Health to host an event where couples planned their wedding while remaining safe.
To ensure a safe event, we instituted one-way aisles, social distancing guidelines, and QR codes to a digital Twin Cities Bridal Show program. We also had contactless check-in, ticketed time slots, and hand sanitizer widely available throughout the show floor — a MUST for events in today’s world.
INSPIRATION GALORE
Brides, grooms, and their crews were welcomed into the show by an array of galleries as well as our infamous Inspiration Station. Here they found six different live wedding theme ideas including:
- Cotton Candy
- Bohemian Rhapsody
- Cultures
- City Chic
- Micro Merriement
- Farm-to-Table
We tapped local pros including Epitome Papers, Flutter Bridal Co., Keys Cafe, and Sweet Assurance to create unique and detailed wedding reception ideas. ICYMI, check out all the themes on our Pinterest page.

Glam2Go Makeover Zone makeup and hair artist Gypsy Hair Guru pampered attendees and glammed up our fashion show models. Jessica and her team provided mini-makeovers that excited brides about their wedding day beauty.
2021 TWIN CITIES BRIDAL SHOW AISLE OF STYLE
The Aisle of Style Fashion Show was the HOT spot at the show with every time slot selling out almost 2 weeks before the show! Eager brides arrived to see cocktail-style tables allowing for proper physical distancing. They watched 40+ gowns dazzle the runway with modern pieces alongside traditional options. Bridal shops included Diamond Bride, Flutter Bridal Co., and a special appearance by local designer Colby John. Watch the entire show here on our IGTV!
Throughout timed attendance slots, guests connected — from 6′ — with Twin Cities wedding experts like Liz Marie Photography.
We want to extend a big THANK YOU to every vendor, bride, groom, entourage member, and the RiverCentre for a smooth and inspiring winter 2021 Twin Cities Bridal Show! Wedding planning through COVID-19 is difficult, but love isn’t canceled! We know the planning must go on.
The next Twin Cities Bridal Show will take place Sunday, September 26, 2021, and we are hopeful that times will be a bit more “normal”! Stay tuned to our Facebook page for wedding tips, trends, and when you can get your tickets to the next show. Happy planning!
