We have the lowdown on everything that happened at UNVEILED this past Sunday! The Ultimate Wedding Event showcased the best wedding vendors in the area introducing attendees to everything from photographers, reception venues, caterers, and much more.
Jordan of A’BriTin Catering was very excited to be joining UNVEILED for a second year. “What we really love about this show is that it has a concept, something to really get brides thinking,” He says. “It’s a jumping-off point for how we style our booth to bring in the brides and we love being able to give out samples. UNVEILED is definitely our favorite bridal show to be at!”
Megan from Chad & Megan Photography chimed in about what makes UNVEILED stand out from the others. “We really like the laid out carpet and the lounge areas where brides can immerse themselves into the spaces,” she says. As a first-time exhibitor, Megan touches on what she’s most looking forward to at the show. “We’re excited to meet all the new brides and get to know about their wedding day!”
UNVEILED 2020 was the most stylish and lush yet with guests audibly saying “oh” and “ah” each time they turned a corner. As they entered the hall at the Minneapolis Convention Center, couples practiced signing their “new name” on our name wall before getting their tote to fill with lots of goodies as they walked the entire UNVEILED experience.
Brides, grooms, and entourages alike immersed themselves in wedding inspiration galore as they strolled the red carpet aisles. You could see the sparkle in all the brides’ eyes as they were surrounded by chic and stylish gowns from Flutter Bridal Co., Mestads, and the Wedding Shoppe in the Gown Gallery. After passing the bridal gowns, many went straight the Sweets Emporium—rightfully—to indulge in tasty samples from local bakeries like Cafe Latte, Nadia Cakes, North Mallow, and others.

Next, attendees explored formalwear beyond bridal including a fresh take on mother-of-the-bride dresses in the Mother’s Gallery with pieces from the Wedding Shoppe & Mestads. Across the way was the Tuxedo Gallery by Men’s Warehouse featuring classic and modern tuxes for the groom and groomsmen. Next, brides explored a vast array of options for their bridesmaids in the Bridesmaid Gallery from top-to-bottom gold sequins to simple and elegant.
Couples also had the opportunity to meet with local and national travel experts to assist them in planning a romantic honeymoon or destination wedding at the Honeymoon & Destination Wedding Showcase. Couples explored options from Tahiti to Europe with Paradise Weddings or AAA Travel and mini-moons to Lutsen or Odyssey Resorts
Brides and their tribes pampered up at the Beauty Bar by SM Hair & Makeup then grabbed a cocktail at the MN Bride Mimosa Bar before making their way to the TrendSpot Fashion Show. With gowns hand-picked by The Wedding Guys® from New York Bridal Fashion Week, there was no shortage of glitzy inspiration. World-renowned designers were featured in the show with gowns and bridesmaids dresses from Flutter Bridal Co., Posh Bridal Couture, and Mestads. Fashions included vintage-inspired looks, intricate beading, illusion tops, sleeves, and more.
The belle of the ball was indeed the Trend Wedding Experience with an all-new theme: Bohemian Rhapsody! Eye-catching, bold colors with never-ending greenery set the stage for an unparalleled wedding inspiration experience. Furnishings and decor were provided by BeThings with multi-purpose stationery from A Milestone Paper Co., and a nature-inspired cake by Nadia Cakes. UNVEILED first-timer, Debbie Turner Originals, pushed her boundaries and put together gorgeous head-table and centerpiece floral bouquets. Here’s a fun fact about Debbie—she played Marta in the original Sound of Music and has also taken part in designing floral at the White House! We were so lucky to have such a renowned and talented team bring our vision to life! Attendees loved all of the detailed and unique elements found in the Trend Wedding Experience.
We could go on and on about the dazzling displays, the wonderful vendors, and enthusiastic brides, but we know you have wedding planning to get to! Thank you to everyone who joined us to make this an extra special UNVEILED. We hope to see you this fall at the Twin Cities Bridal Show on Sunday, September 27th, at the Saint Paul RiverCentre!
