A: Rudy’s is a boutique rental company specializing in harvest tables and unique one-of-a-kind piece with a European feel.
Q: What makes Rudy’s Event Rentals stand out compared to other wedding décor and rental options?
A: Rudy’s inventory is a very curated collection of modern, rustic and refined pieces. All of our harvest tables (225) are hand made and come in a variety of sizes, colors and heights which helps add a custom feel to your event. We only carry inventory that the “big” companies don’t but still in volume.
Q: When did Rudy’s Event Rentals open?
A: We opened officially in 2012
Q: What do you love about working in the wedding industry?
A: I love being able to help couples with the design of their day. It’s incredibly satisfying to see the excitement when you present designs and see the end result of the look.
Q: What’s an average (wedding) day like for you?
A: Surprisingly, I’m managing the setups from the office. We have a crew of 5 guys that will deliver and set up. If I’m involved directly with custom designs or pieces for the event, then I will be on site.
Q: What would you want a couple in the wedding planning process to know about wedding rentals?
A: There is so much available now since Pinterest has been avaialable. Take your time and really understand the difference of Pinterest versus reality. You can have a beautiful wedding without breaking the bank. Rentals in the Twin Cities is competitive- we are all in the same range.
Q: What do you offer for rental options?
A: We basically have grown into an all inclusive rental shoppe. We offer everything from farm tables- including high tops- to a variety of seating options- chairs, benches, sofas, specialty bride and groom chairs- to dishware, flatware, glasses and bars. The only item that we do not carry is tents.
Q: What are some of your most unique or favorite rental pieces?
A: My aubergine sofa and chair set is my baby! I love the rose gold accents and it’s just a unique design. In second place would be our mirror inlaid tables. I love the reflection of the table top decor and once in awhile it reflects onto the ceiling. They are really stunning!
Q: Can you think of a wedding or event that you have worked on that stands out?
A: There has been a number of them. The beauty of it all, is the teamwork that goes into each wedding. All of us vendors work well together and have developed a trusting relationship that resonates into the wedding. Each vendor brings their own creativity to the table and that is what makes some events stand out more than others.
