Tommy Hilfiger was beaming when he gave his daughter Ally away over the weekend in a beach wedding ceremony. Ally tied the knot with her long-time partner and father to her daughter, Steve Hash, wearing a one-of-a-kind dress designed by… You got it! Her father. Ally worked with her father to create a stunning and unique wedding gown.
Ally revealed to Hello in September last year that she was working with her famous dad on her bridal wear. ‘I’m a bit of a bohemian, gypsy kind of chick,’ she explained.
‘He has a really great eye and [knows] what looks good on a woman – and I have a clear vision of what I want, so I think that combining those will make for a beautiful dress.’
For the dress he designed for his daughter, Tommy opted to keep the gown itself super simple, sticking with a V-neck white silk slip, and adding a whole lot of drama thanks to a sheer, hooded cape with all-over white floral embroidery that turned a deep shade of royal blue along the hem. Hash also opted for all white in the form of a slim-cut linen suit, and their daughter Harley served as flower girl in a little white shirt that matched her mother’s wedding dress embroidery.
As if this gown wasn’t beautiful enough, the bride changed into a sexy backless dress for the reception. The low-cut dress featured a brown belt, sticking with her bohemian style while the guests at her wedding wore black and white attire.
But if that’s still not glamourous enough, the bride also walked down the aisle to the tones of The Rolling Stone’s Ronnie Wood and guests danced all week-long to tunes hand-curated by Skrillex.
