Laure de Sagazan’s 2018 collection is full of romantic chic inspiration. The collection boasts 30 gowns and we can definitely see the Parisian grace that she emulates through each piece. Laure used 1920s inspiration to create the understated feminine masterpieces. Many gowns in the collection feature two-piece sets and drop waits, which are two trends that have continued to grow in popularity for today’s bride.
We actually had the pleasure of viewing the latest Laure De Sagazan collection while in NYC for Bridal Fashion Week this spring. Laure started out as a designer for a French fashion brand, when her cousin asked her to create a custom wedding gown for her wedding, Laure fell in love. Her first custom gown was a success and she began receiving more and more requests. Finally, in 2011 she decided to branch out and create her very own bridal brand. Laure wants the brides who wear her designs to feel like themselves on their wedding day. She believes that brides shouldn’t feel disguised in their dresses on the big day. Her aesthetic is very vintage, for this particular collection she even discovered turn-of-the-century archives in France and reproduced them for a truly authentic and special collection.
