Your Wedding Vendors make magic happen on your wedding day. You and your guests may not see what goes on behind the scenes to make your dreams come true on that special day, but these professionals are the real MVP when it comes to your wedding day. Sometimes in the whirlwind of wedding day emotions and schedules, it is hard to show these important people how much you appreciated their hard work. This week we’re taking some time to show appreciation for those vendors who went the extra mile to make your day run smoothly and look beautiful! Here are a few simple ways to show them some love for Wedding Pro Appreciation Week!
1: Tip Your Vendors
This seems like a no-brainer but sometimes in the craziness of the day, these kinds of things slip our minds. Make sure you plan ahead for this, both by adding money into your budget for tipping as well as having someone handle all the tipping at the end of the night or in the days following the wedding.
2: Leave reviews for them on websites like Yelp, Wedding Wire, and The Knot! Give credit to your favorite vendors and help out other brides who rely on these sites to find their perfect wedding team. Especially for smaller businesses, these sites are what they rely on for marketing, so giving them a quick shout-out for their hard work means a lot!
3: Give Referrals
If you have friends who are in the wedding planning process or will be soon, keep a list of your favorite vendors, contact info, and tips to hand off to your family members and BFFS who will soon be walking down the aisle.
4: Send them photos from your big day
Vendors love to see their work in action. Many times vendors like bakers, makeup artists, and florists leave the event before everything is put together. It is fun for the vendors to see how everything came together and for them to have beautiful shots of their work to add to their portfolios. Make sure to ask your photographer for permission to distribute photos to your vendors.
5: Send them a handwritten thank you card
Before you tackle the long list of guests who gave you gifts, take some time to write thank-you notes to those vendors who stuck out and made a difference in your day! They appreciate your kind words and recognition more than you know.
6: Give them a shout out on social media!
