As for the Isabelle Armstrong collection this season, they ushered in romance and tradition to New York Bridal Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Dainty, delicate and full of flattering feminine fabrics! This season for Isabelle Armstrong we see beautiful corset bodices crafted from amazing lace, fabrics with delicate crystal detailing and demure belts. The dreamy romantic style appears in flowing fabrics such as chiffon and organza while satin is being replaced by taffeta. Elegant classic looks and fuller A-Line and Ball Gown silhouettes are perfect for the millennial reminiscent of the 1950s. A feminine peplum removable overskirt used also to create drama for the ceremony announces a second look by introducing a more fashion-forward column gown for the reception and dance.
One of our favorite gowns from the collection was a lace sleeveless natural waist slim A-line gown that has a stunning cathedral window effect, which also elongated the silhouette for a more established bride. If there was one odd-one out in the collection, we would have to say the tank-top fit and flair gown with the front and back lace panel. Although the embroidery and 3-D fabric florals were beautiful, it created a block effect and cut the gown in half at the knees. Overall, Isabelle Armstrong is one of our top 5 best collections at this spring’s bridal fashion week!
